Oral Cancer Screening Using Blue Light Fluorescence Technology
Study results reported in The Journal of American Dental Association have indicated that a normal visual oral examination may not be sufficient to identify cancer and pre-cancer tissues at the early, life saving stage. In particular, the 3K mode allows for a curing time of one second for 2mm of composite, making it ideal for Componeer placement or for time-sensitive circumstances such as pediatric cases or patients with gag reflex issues. Orthodontics mode cures an entire full-arch of brackets with two 3-second intervals per bracket.
